| Hello everyone,
Hopefully the warm weather is fast approaching us so can I please remind you all to send your child/children with a suitable named sun hat and sun cream. Unfortunately, if your child does not have these they will be unable to play outside and depending on rations, other children may be unable to enjoy the garden too as a member of staff will need to stay in the building with your child.
Also can we please ask parents with little girls to put their hair up. I appreciate that this is not always possible in the mad rush dropping off, but if you pop a hair band in their bag, we can put their hair up. This is obviously an effort to stop any potential spread of nits.
Another reminder. Please can you only send water in your child’s bottle. We still have some turning up with squash or juice. This is just emptied and refilled with water.
Our annual summer fete is only 2 weeks away on Friday May 16th from 1800 to 2000. Raffle tickets will be on sale as soon as we can get them out. Please sell as many tickets as you can, to friends family and work colleagues. Also if you , or someone you know or work for someone who could donate a prize for the raffle we would be eternally grateful. If you work for a company, maybe they could donate a service of some kind??
This years attractions include an ice cream van, cakes and drinks stand, coconut shy, pony rides (hopefully) and the bbq will be replaced this year with hot dogs as this years main attraction is throwing wet sponges at Adrian who will be in the stocks (the staff and I are really looking forward to this one.) As in all years, the money raised will be split with this years chosen charity, ‘Southern FM’s Help a local Child’ and the rest will be spent on toys and equipment for the nursery. I hope you can all come along, and don’t be afraid to bring friends and family
